[Dreaming High]

I remember when people would freak out over a 3000kb submision. I wonder how many brix would be shat over THIS entry. Haha.

But anyway, a very nice, fluid, animation.
I don't know you, but the entire thing felt really intimate, if you where going for something a bit more "you", you've succeeded.

The music was perfect as-well, thank you for showing it to me, I've hadn't heard it before.

OK, for some reason this is 5MB large haha...

Just a few tips, don't make your animation have a large resolution, 640x480 is pretty much the maximum you should aim for, remember newgrounds can re-size your animation to enlarge it, and you wont loose any quality because flash uses vector graphics.

Secondly, you just used the 12 frames per second default setting on your flash program, try increasing it.
24 frames per second(FPS) renders a fluid enough animation, however you should always aim for something like 60FPS.

I see you used Tween, and did some frame-by-frame animation, no opinions there, we all have our art styles, it was nice, but really, increase the frame-rate or it just ends up looking like a picture slideshow.

I knew the optimum is 24/fps but I totally forgot about changing the default when I started making it! I'll definetely change it in the future. Also, I drew all the frames in an external program at 1024x720p since I dislike the 'smoothness' of vector art.

Funny, my first flash was an animation of a dancing cactus and a jumping bean dressed as mariachis dancing and jumping to "Taco-bell dog" by S.P.M.
Why must first animations be racist? xD

My mind is completely, absolutely, and without a doubt blown beyond repair.

I simply cannot believe that i had neglected to watch this fantastic film for almost 3 years.
This is by far the best animation i have seen on this, or any other site, and dare i say, it is the very best animated short period.

This flash does not 'rank with the Elite', this flash SETS THE BOUNDARIES between Eliteness and Godliness.

I must thank you both, James Lee and Hania. For you, with your amazing creation have blessed all that constitutes my eyes, my ears, and my, now blown, mind and very existence.

I really honestly hope for the good of all humanity that trough the years this flash has been awe-ing us, you and yours have been working hard on a feature length presentation!

I honestly was not expecting 'El Canaca' to show up in the middle of the flash.

I had allready given it a five, but after hearing those famous "Me amarraron como puerco!" words i couldn't help but to add it to my favorites.
